Join us for the release of Lustrous Frumento with Coffee – part of our Barrelmaster’s Reserve series. This delicious black ale aged in bourbon barrels with cold brew coffee is only available at Cellar 3, with only 600 bottles available. Limit 4 bottles per person.
The latest in the Barrelmasters reserve series, Lustrous Frumento with Mostra Coffee will be available for our first ever online purchase from 9am through 10pm (or sold out) on Saturday, September 9th. If you prefer to purchase in person we’ll be keeping a few back to sell at Cellar 3 from 12pm. Bottles are for PICK UP only, we will not be shipping but if you are purchasing from outside of San Diego we will allow you to designate a proxy individual to pick up for you.
Pick up details: You can choose to pick up you bottle at either of our San Diego tasting Rooms: Cellar 3 or Mira Mesa
- Cellar 3: Pick up between 12pm Saturday, September 9th thru 6pm Oct 8th
- Mira Mesa: Pick up between 3pm Tuesday, September 12th thru 6pm Oct 8th
Bottles are limited to 4 per person and a total of 600 bottles are available online and at the Cellar 3 Tasting Room. Please note bottles will NOT be for sale in the Mira Mesa Tasting Room. That is a pick up only location.

About the beer:
This is the second release of Lustrous Frumento with Coffee from the Barrelmaster’s Reserve series. A 100% bourbon barrel-aged Black Ale, Lustrous Frumento with Coffee features a rich malty Double Stout base. It is matured in freshly emptied, hand-selected Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels, which arrive at Cellar 3 still dripping from the distillery. The beer has rested in the barrels for 30 months, gaining plenty of spicy oak, vanilla, and caramel notes. A beautiful cold brew coffee made from a proprietary blend of Costa Rican Caturra and Catuai beans was developed by San Diego coffee roaster, Mostra exclusively for this beer. The coffee intensifies and complements the rich caramel, cocoa, fig, and vanilla notes presented by this exceptional barrel-aged offering. Lustrous Frumento with Coffee is packaged in a signature metallic edition of the Cellar 3 750 mL cork-finished bottles.
