The Green Flash Supper Club is a series of dinner and beer pairings that take place in our tasting room. We partner with culinary masters from San Diego to craft tasting menus that show off each chef’s personal style of cuisine and then, our VP of Hospitality and Certified Cicerone®, Dave Adams, thoughtfully pairs the lineup with beers from Green Flash. The result is an exemplary dining experience. Each Supper Club sells out in advance, be sure to get your ticket early to avoid missing out!
Doors open/reception begins at 6:00 p.m. and dinner begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. No early entry allowed. Please arrive on time.
About the Chef
Chef Greg Frey Jr. attended Johnson and Wales in Charleston, SC and earned a Stage at LeBougainvillier in St Galmier in France. After returning to the states, he worked at Rubicon in San Francisco before making the move to Bernardus Lodge in Carmel Valley where he served as Chef de Cuisine. After moving to San Diego, Greg earned a position as executive sous chef at Pamplemousse Grille, working with Chef Jeffery Strauss. In 2011, Greg became Chef de Cuisine at La Costa resort’s Bluefire Grill. With a farm to table approach and passion for local ingredients, he spent three years there refining his personal style. More recently, he joined as Executive Chef at Golden Door, where he ensures the dishes served in the restaurant at this exclusive world-class spa are healthy, balanced, fresh, and full of flavor.
