Join us at Green Flash Brewing for a Backpacking Basics class led by REI Outdoor School instructors. This beginner class will cover planning, preparation and gear for your next backpacking adventure. Learn how to choose a pack, select proper clothing and footwear. Plus, we’ll give you important notes on trail etiquette and Leave No Trace principles. Let REI help you understand what you need to reach your destination! Come early to buy a beer and grab your seat. The class will run from 6:00-7:00pm in the indoor event space at Green Flash Brewing in Virginia Beach. Ages 21 and older. The tasting room will remain open till 8pm.
