About Jessica Siemens:

For my original works I create vibrant landscapes that reveal the magnificence in our ordinary surroundings. Focusing on nature and architecture I capture each subject by applying thick layers alongside oil paint flung, splattered and dripped in intricate textures. Meditating on light and color, I paint common place objects because I am awed by their abundant natural beauty and I want to share this perception and appreciation with others.
